Lucy D. Lovrien Lucy D. Lovrien concentrates her practice on trademark and copyright, business, civil litigation, contracts, and real estate.
She advises and represents businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals in copyright, trademark, publishing, contract, business organization, business law, real estate, and other matters.
Attorney Lovrien has over twenty-five years of legal experience. She led a team of seven attorneys in complex trademark nationwide litigation for a high-tech client.
Attorney Lovrien conducts civil litigation in the areas of copyright infringement, trademark infringement, contract, real estate, and business torts.
With Attorney Andrew D. Epstein, she represented the artist in an important moral rights case, Phillips v. Pembroke.
She has drafted and negotiated a wide variety of contracts and licenses, including publishing contracts, business contracts, and settlement agreements. She counsels clients on business formation, intellectual property protection and strategies.
She prosecutes and maintains trademark applications and registrations at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, represents clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board, and counsels clients on trademark use, strategy, and litigation.
In the field of real estate, she handles a variety of matters including purchase and sale, landlord-tenant disputes, condominium disputes, mechanics’ liens and all related litigation.
